Why Safety Matters at Landscape Development, Inc.
Landscape Development, Inc. (LDI) knows safety should never be an afterthought—it’s a fundamental part of how we do business. From pre-construction planning to final walkthroughs, every phase of our landscape construction projects is executed with the highest standards of safety in mind.
We don’t just build beautiful, functional landscapes—we protect the people who build them.
Safety Starts with Training and Culture
Our crews are thoroughly trained in the proper use of heavy machinery, tools, and job site protocols. We invest in ongoing safety education, including OSHA compliance, equipment certifications, PPE use, and site-specific hazard recognition. This proactive approach ensures that our team arrives prepared, professional, and protected on every project.
Best-in-Class EMR Safety Rating
Our commitment to safety is reflected in our industry-leading Experience Modification Rate (EMR)—a key metric used by insurance providers to assess risk. A low EMR means fewer incidents, lower insurance costs, and most importantly, safer working environments for our crews and project partners.
