Earth Day is more than a date on the calendar—it’s a reflection of our daily commitment to responsible environmental stewardship. In celebration of Earth Day 2025, themed “Our Power, Our Planet,” LDI is proud to stand with global efforts to advance renewable energy and climate action. Through education, advocacy, and innovation, we’re working toward a more sustainable future—one project at a time.
Safety: The Foundation of Environmental Responsibility
LDI is recognized industry-wide for its best-in-class safety standards. Our approach to safety isn’t just about protecting our teams—it’s about safeguarding the natural environments in which we work. With rigorous training programs and comprehensive systems in place, we ensure every project is executed responsibly, with environmental integrity at the core.
Enhanced Landscape Management: Electrifying the Future of Maintenance
Our maintenance division, Enhanced Landscape Management (ELM), continues to lead the way in environmental responsibility by partnering with Greenworks to electrify its equipment fleet. By transitioning away from gas-powered tools, ELM is significantly reducing its carbon footprint, minimizing noise pollution, and supporting healthier, cleaner communities.
From electric mowers and blowers to emission-free trimmers and hedge cutters, our teams are now using cutting-edge tools that align with our sustainability goals. This bold move reflects ELM’s ongoing dedication to enhancing landscape performance while protecting natural resources across California and Southern Nevada.
Enhanced Arbor Management: Preserving Our Urban Forests
Our specialized tree care division, Enhanced Arbor Management (EAM), plays a critical role in LDI’s environmental mission. Trees are one of the planet’s most powerful climate tools, and our certified arborists ensure they receive expert care. From tree preservation and health assessments to responsible removals and replanting, EAM helps sustain the urban forest ecosystem for generations to come.
Design Studios Landscape Development: Eco-Conscious by Design
The Design Studios team at LDI brings together artistry and environmental efficiency to create landscapes that are as sustainable as they are beautiful. Each project incorporates smart, low-impact solutions—like native planting palettes, permeable paving, and water-wise systems—that reduce environmental impact while elevating aesthetics and livability.
A Culture Rooted in Collaboration and Conservation
LDI’s impact is made stronger through partnership—whether it’s with clients, communities, or across our own divisions. We believe in building landscapes that serve both people and the planet, and that starts with shared vision and intentional design. Every project is an opportunity to create lasting, sustainable value for our clients and the environment.
Our Commitment: Earth Day and Beyond
As we mark Earth Day 2025, LDI remains firmly committed to supporting a healthier planet. From electric-powered maintenance solutions and responsible arbor care to safe construction practices and climate-conscious design, we’re proud to do our part in building a greener future.
Happy Earth Day from all of us at LDI, ELM, EAM, and Design Studios!
Let’s keep growing with purpose—for our planet, our communities, and the generations to come.
