We are thrilled to announce that Landscape Development Inc. has been awarded the prestigious Beautiful Bakersfield Award for our design-build project, The Cue Apartments, in the Urban Revitalization category. This award, sponsored by City Councilman Andrae Gonzales, recognizes individuals, businesses, or organizations that have made a meaningful contribution to placemaking and reimagining how we live, work, and play.
The Cue Apartments, a project by Sage Equities, is a 49-unit market-rate multifamily development located at 1800 Q St. in downtown Bakersfield. This project aims to transform the downtown landscape by demonstrating the market demand for a luxury urban lifestyle in Bakersfield. Sage Equities’ vision is to attract and retain a professional workforce seeking community and connection in a walkable urban setting.
The Beautiful Bakersfield Awards, presented by Valley Strong Credit Union, celebrated the efforts of 86 individuals, businesses, and organizations that contributed to building a better Bakersfield in 2023. The 34th annual event, hosted by the Greater Bakersfield Chamber at the Mechanics Bank Theater & Convention Center, saw 640 community members come together to honor these achievements.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our Bakersfield team for their outstanding work and dedication to this project. Their commitment to excellence and innovation has not only contributed to the success of The Cue Apartments but also to the revitalization of downtown Bakersfield.
