Landscape Development, Inc is delighted to share an update on a special project that underscores our dedication to both the community and the environment. Today, LDI had the privilege of participating in the Bridge to Home open house in Santa Clarita. Our involvement with this project is a testament to our commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.
LDI’s Landscape Architecture studio designed the landscape for the new Bridge to Home homeless shelter, and our construction division has been hard at work providing labor and materials to bring this design to life. The project is a true design-build donation that reflects our dual commitment to innovative environmental practices and the well-being of our community.
The new Bridge to Home Full-Service Interim Housing Center will provide 100 beds for those in need. This facility is a collaborative effort involving the City of Santa Clarita, LA County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, and Los Angeles County. The center is designed to be a beacon of hope, serving as a comprehensive resource for addressing homelessness in our region.
LDI’s owner, Gary Horton, has generously donated to the shelter demonstrating our company’s dedication to this important cause. Today, our staff had the opportunity to tour the new facilities and participate in the open house. We also contributed in making welcoming baskets for the new residents who are getting ready to move in at the end of the month.
We are grateful for everyone’s efforts in making a difference in our community and look forward to continuing our support for Bridge to Home and other initiatives that promote social responsibility and environmental stewardship.
Stay tuned for more updates on our ongoing projects and community involvement. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
