Maria Carlson

Maria Carlson joins Landscape Development, Inc. in 2025 as Chief Financial Officer, bringing more than a decade of senior finance leadership and a proven record of guiding organizations through complex growth. A longtime executive at Pankow Builders, she previously served as Corporate Controller and CFO, overseeing a 35 percent increase in revenue and an 18 percent expansion in headcount during her first year in the role. Maria holds a B.S. in Accountancy from California State University, Northridge, is an inactive CPA, and is also a certified Professional Coach.

Known for her combination of financial discipline and people-focused leadership, Maria has been instrumental in developing mentorship programs, emerging-leader initiatives, and cultural development efforts throughout her career. She brings a collaborative, forward-thinking approach to her work, fostering alignment between finance, operations, and leadership teams.
