Landscape Development, Inc. is proud to be part of a transformative project designed to uplift families and strengthen communities — the first Together California Foster Village, co-founded by Christian and Sibi Bale.
More than 16 years in the making, this $22 million development represents the couple’s deep commitment to improving the foster care system and ensuring that siblings can stay together in a stable, loving environment. The village features 12 family-style homes, apartments for teens aging out of foster care, and a 7,000-square-foot Community Center that will provide mentorship, education, counseling, and career training.
“With LA County having more kids in foster care than anywhere else in America, it’s time we stand together and take a holistic, loving, and long-term approach to take better care of our children.
Please join us in transforming the foster care system and improving children’s lives throughout Los Angeles.”
— Sibi and Christian Bale, Co-Founders, Together California
The Austrian-American Council West has also joined as a founding partner in this groundbreaking effort.
“We are delighted to do our part in creating the first Together California village. The Austrian-American Council West has a long history of helping children and families in need. We are proud to be part of this landmark model of foster care, which originated in Austria after World War II. Our Council and its members are committed to and focus all our resources on developing the Community Center, which will be our legacy of support, love, and care for so many children in need.”
— Veronika Reinelt, President, Austrian-American Council West
Together California’s holistic design reflects a deep understanding of children’s emotional needs. In addition to the family homes, the village includes two studio apartments for birth parents working toward reunification and transitional housing for youth preparing for independence. Outdoor gardens, recreation, and sports areas will create a vibrant space where families can gather, play, and grow together.
Landscape Development, Inc. is honored to provide the landscape construction for this meaningful community project — one that embodies our mission of creating environments that bring peace of mind and support the well-being of all.
